Built in 1963 the National Museum was constructed on the site of the Selangor Museum which was bombed by allied forces during World War II. The main museum building houses four main galleries A, B, C and D. Recently refurbished, the galleries are using state-of-the art display techniques.
Museum shop is located at the exit of the museum for your shopping convenience. The shop offers a wide range of souvenirs for all needs. Let it be school children, tourists, collectors, families or youngsters, we have something for you. Come to the National Museum to appreciate our culture at the same time you can take home a souvenir for you and your love ones.

We have recently expanded our business to wholesale crafts products, cafe, restaurant and gift-shop. They are located near the Datran Merdeka ( Independence Square ) within walking distance of each other. The products are selected from Malaysia and the ASEAN region. All of our wholesale products are handmade by small communities and are specially designed in aid of the communities and help preserve their culture.

Dibena pada tahun 1963, Muzium Negara dibangunkan diatas tapak Muzium Selangor yang musnah akibat di bom oleh tentera British semasa perang dunia kedua. Bangunan utama muzium mempunyai empat buah galeri ia itu galeri A, B, C, dan D. Muzium ini telah di naiktaraf baru-baru ini dengan menggunakan teknik dan peralatan moden.

Produk kami dipilih daripada Malaysia dan negara-negara ASEAN. Kesemua produk borong kami diperbuat dengan tangan oleh komuniti kecil bertujuan membantu dan mengekalkan budaya mereka.
